DEVA CODE OF CONDUCT
GENERAL CODE OF CONDUCT
Members and non members must meet the following in regards to their conduct and behaviour during shows and events ran by the DEVA Group, and at all other shows and events in which they attend and participate in as members of the DEVA Group, and within any role held within the Group.
• Be professional in and accept responsibility for your actions
  •  Be Honest, fair and considerate in your dealings with others
  • Respect Dignity, Rights and Worth of all people
  • Maintain the rules and regulations of the Group and operate within those rules 
  • Protect and preserve the the reputation and standing of the Group 
  • Avoid using any privileged information to gain a personal or commercial advantage 
  • Refrain from using your position or role for personal gain, to avoid your responsibility or prevent an individual exercising their rights. 
  • Demonstrate a high example of responsibility when dealing with people under the age of 18 years, as your words and actions are examples.
    • Be aware of your legal rights and responsibilities of others 
  • Refrain from using your involvement with the Group to promote your own behaviour, beliefs and practises where they are inconsistent with the Groups. 
  • Avoid any form of harassment or intimidation of others 
  • Avoid any behaviour that could bring the Group into disrepute 
  • Provide a safe environment for the conduct of all activities
  •  Show caution and concern to others that may be injured or sick

COMPETITORS AND EXHIBITORS CODE OF CONDUCT
In addition to the General Code of Conduct Exhibitors and Competitors must meet the following requirements during any Show/activity held or sanctioned by the DEVA Group
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner regarding language, temper and punctuality
• Be courteous and kind and set a good example in Dress and Behaviour
• Respect the rights, dignity and worth of fellow competitors, judges, stewards, officials, spectators and volunteers
• Do not tolerate acts of aggression
• Respect the talent, potential and development of fellow competitors
• Maintain a high personal behaviour at all times
• Observe the rules and respect the decision of the official, making appeals through the proper process and then respect the final decision.

BULLYING
• The DEVA Group wants members, officials and organisers to know that Bullying is not accepted at or during any of our Events
• Bullying is any inappropriate behaviour using force or power. Bullying undermines a persons self esteem and confidence • Reports of Bullying will be dealt with confidentially and promptly
• Every competitor, official and volunteer has a right to be treated with respect and dignity and the DEVA Group has the responsibility to ensure that this happens at all events and activities
• In Criminal Law, Bullying is assault.
